Master Bond Inc.: One Part “Snap Cure” Adhesive

Master Bond Inc., Hackensack, N.J. has developed a new one component high performance “snap cure” adhesive to optimize productivity.  This system called Master Bond Supreme 10HTF is designed to fully cure in as little as 2 minutes at 375-400°F, even less at higher temperatures.  Tensile shear strength of more than 3000 psi and T-peels in excess of 20 pli are readily obtainable.  Supreme 10HTF can be stored at room temperature for a minimum of 3 months.  Unlike other “snap cure” systems this product does not require refrigeration. Master Bond Supreme 10HTF can be easily applied with both manual and automatic dispensing equipment.  It’s service operating temperature range is -320°F to +400°F.  It has excellent adhesion to a wide range of both metallic and nonmetallic substrates.  This toughened composition offers superior resistance to thermal shock, vibration and stress fatigue cracking.  Master Bond Supreme 10HTF is available in pint, quart, gallon, 5 gallon and drum units.
