Kerk Motion Products, one of the world’s premier manufacturers of non-ball lead screws, offers its ZBX Series anti-backlash assembly, an ideal linear actuator for design operations requiring precise positional accuracy and repeatability, at a minimum cost. The inherent damping qualities of the ZBX design make it ideally suited for vertical applications requiring noise or vibration control.

Kerk’s standard ZBX unit utilizes a patented self-lubricating polyacetal nut that is radially preloaded on a 303 stainless steel screw. The ZBX assembly offers exceptional torque consistency and repeatability when traversing in either direction through its unique load transfer capability.

End machining to customer specifications and Kerkote® TFE screw coating are optional, as are designs for special operating configurations or environments.
