maxon precision motors, Inc. manufactures small, high quality, DC brush & brushless motors used in such industries as medical, semiconductor, test and measurement, robotics and manufacturing, among others. These motors range in size from 0.2” to 3.5” (6 –90mm) and from 0.03 to 500 watts.
maxon's rhombic wound ironless rotor motors provide exceptionally high efficiency, low EMI emissions, fast acceleration, no preferred rotor position, linear speed and torque constants (accurate control) and long life.

The top performance range of maxon motor’s RE program is being boosted. The new RE 65 power package delivers 250 watts and can handle the toughest demands. The motor is particularly suitable for applications where high efficiency, high power density and a minimal operating noise are crucial.
maxon motor is launching a range of brushless DC motors with integrated electronics. The range features established drives EC 20 flat, EC 32 flat and EC 45 flat with built-in speed controllers.
Maxon’s EC16 is a brushless DC motor with a diameter of only 16mm, a length of 56mm and a power rating of 40 Watt!
The speed range of this fast running motor is from 0 to 60,000 rpm. Lower speeds and a corresponding high torque can be implemented with a planetary gear from the maxon modular system.
A 2nd generation of the family of intelligent positioning controllers EPOS (Easy to use POSitioning System) is already emerging. EPOS2 is the name of the new product from the maxon motor control range - a digital positioning controller designed to control brush and brushless DC motors with encoder.
