Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. of Concord, California announces the availability of the Calex Model 4800. The Model 4800 Summing Transmitter is a cost effective highly versatile solution for multiple load cell systems. The 4800 can accept both AC & DC power inputs, power up to four load cells, provides three way isolation, and four output options. All input/output options are included on the 4800 as provided by the factory.
The Model 433 is a self-contained, AC powered signal conditioner for load cells and transducers utilizing a full bridge strain gage configuration. It contains a precision instrumentation amplifier with an isolated, filtered output and a highly regulated, low noise, adjustable output bridge excitation source.
The LT is housed in an industry standard half brick package measuring 2.4" x 2.3" x 0.55". Each unit is fully encapsulated with thermally conductive potting compound and an aluminum baseplate for improved thermal performance.
This case design can also be used in a variety of other mounting configurations for single channel applications. The unit is housed in 1" x 2" six sided shielded case with a mounting flange. Total dimensions are 1.31" x 3" x 0.47" high.
