PZB-plus is a newly designed series of 3-finger centric grippers, whose special feature is a central bore designed as a sleeve. This central bore, which is also equipped with female threads for customer-specific add-ons, can be used to supply material or as an ejector.
SCHUNK Inc. is expanding its workholding product range with several new lines of magnetic clamping. The new lines include a complete line of permanent and electro permanent grinding and EDM magnets, bipolar magnets for holding round bars to cut Key-Ways and Whip Stocks and Radial magnets for VTL’s to hold rings, as well as other magnets for special applications.
The SCHUNK TENDO-ES, is an extremely short hydraulic expansion toolholder, which allows the tool to be clamped directly in the mounting taper. This way, the tool shank is supported via the spindle. The result is the highest holding forces for transferable high torques and a great deal of additional space in the machining area.
Separate laws apply for micro-machining, which is why SCHUNK is offering the TRIBOS-RM precision toolholder as the best solution for micro machining with ISO interface. The one-piece, rotationally symmetric design ensures long life of the machine spindles and the complete transmission of power.
