Rockwell Automation has made two additions to its Allen-Bradley ControlLogix family of controllers, both leveraging the single design environment and networking protocol within the company’s Integrated Architecture system. The ControlLogix L73 and L75 programmable automation controllers (PACs) provide advanced memory, speed and processing capabilities for a wide range of control demands, from high-performance logic and motion to information-intensive process applications.
Rockwell Automation announces availability of the Converged Plantwide Ethernet (CPwE) Design and Implementation Guide (DIG) 2.0 to help manufacturers converge their industrial and enterprise-level networks. By following the guidance, manufacturers can achieve network convergence between manufacturing and IT systems within their enterprise, enabling greater business agility and opportunities for innovation with a high degree of security.
The Allen-Bradley L43S and L45S Compact GuardLogix programmable automation controllers (PACs) extend capabilities previously available only in the larger Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platform.
The new Allen-Bradley Kinetix 300 EtherNet/IP indexing servo drive from Rockwell Automation provides machine builders and end users with the ability to standardize on a single communication network for easier commissioning, configuration and startup. With the new drive, the entire control solution – including HMI, programmable automation controllers, I/O and motion – can be connected over a standard EtherNet/IP network.
